Bon jour! We are here in Paris - finally settled! The apartment is very nice and in a wonderful location. Those visiting us will love it for sure! It is only one story and very roomy for Alexis to practice her running skills. She really enjoys it. One funny is the first day/night we heard a rumbling (like a huge airplane right overhead), but it kept doing it every 5 - 10 mins. It is the metro, right beneath our building. So we get some cool rumbles all day long - feels like a minor tremor. Hehehe. Oh and the washer/dryer "all-in-one" machine. One small load = 5 hours, and the clothes were still damp. Ugh. So I get a machine IN the flat, but now it is awful! I can only do 1 load at a time. Oh well - can't have it all perfect eh!?

Things are moving quickly already - we already found us a permanent baby sitter so we can do our date nights weekly and for Valentine's Day night! YAY! She is so wonderful - she is in her mid-20's and is here teaching English - we could not have been blessed with a better sitter! Alexis really liked her and did well. Praise God!!

Weather here is very windy, cold and rainy - blah. Hard to get out in it, but we do anyways. We bought a lightweight 8 lb. stroller so I can go alone with Alexis down into the Metro. They do not have lifts or escalators to go down, just LOTS of stairs. I finally did it on my own the other day and took her to the gardens by the Louvre. Within 5 mins, I met another lady with a boy Alexis' age. She is the sitter for the boy, but is with him all day long. So we might get together and hang out because "Oscar" and Alexis got along so well. The boy, Oscar, literally saw Alexis from a far, then Alexis saw him, and they ran towards each other. So, that made it easy for me to meet the lady and chat!

Health-wise, Alexis and I are finally better, but Ronnie just got sick yesterday. Other than that all is going very well. I'll blog more soon and get caught up with photos! Love - Us3
