Bon Jour!! I finished uploading our week 1 and apartment photos. Also I will be deleting the blog text at the start of every week (Fri/Sat). I am keeping backlogs of them.

Things are wonderful here - really happy. We are getting to know the area well and the food. I love our grocery store by us. I figured out what everything is now and I actually like it better than ours at home. Food is healthier and more to my liking. Of course that is if I have the control - eating out is still challenging!

"All about Alexis" - oh my, oh my - you would think she is a queen the way people respond to her! It is amazing how people are so attracted to her. When we went to the Eiffel - people were coming up to us wanting to meet her, asking where she is from, her name, how beautiful....etc. One lady even grabbed her and took a photo with her. Others kept saying they wanted to take her home...how we should put her in contest...how happy she is. These were people from Germany, Sinapore, Middle East, France, USA - all over. As we walked around - we would hear “Hello Alexis!" - everyone knew her name by the time we went back down from the tower. Too funny! Of course Alexis was all smiles, laughing, and making the most of all the attention.

Ronnie told his co-workers about all of that the next day. Then that night is when we all met them for the first time for dinner. Sure enough all attention was on Alexis again - all the staff kept coming up to her. His co-workers could not believe it, one said "It's like she a star!" Oh - yes - we have our hands full with her. She is a blessing and cracks us up!

I really enjoy Paris for Alexis - it is so nice for children. The baby food is so much better and she LOVES it - she eats so much of it! YAY! She is to the point to where all she is really wanting is finger food. Everywhere you see children and people with strollers. We go out for walks for at least 2 hours a day. There is so much to see and people bustling around. They have huge pigeons here that she loves chasing with her stroller. Also tons of dogs being walked she gets to meet. She loves seeing all the forms of transportation - everything from bicycles, rollerblades, tricycles, scooters, 4 wheelers, trucks, cars - you name it. The loud sounds don't even faze her anymore. There is a park 2 minutes away where all of the school children go afterwards. Around 70 children and their moms/dads are running around doing all forms of play. There is a sand area there and I tried to put Alexis down to play - I could not believe it - she cried - did not like it at all. So we'll try again later. Funny - women here breastfeed out in the open - I'm talking no covering up at all! Also while on a walk - I saw a lady pull her 2 - yr old's pants down and let her take a pee off the side of the curb in the street - GROSS!

I told Ronnie how much I am going to miss all of this already for Alexis’s sake. I sit and watch all the kids out and about and think how sad it is that at home kids do not/can’t do this anymore. They look so happy and are social with kids from other countries. Alexis just can’t get enough of watching them all.

Ok – that’s all for now – it’s our first full weekend here – so be prepared for lots more photos and adventures! – We love and miss you all so much!

Hey guys, I'm glad to hear that things are going well for you. Kathy and I loved Paris and hope that the three of of you get to do alot. I'm sure with Ronnie's work it can be hard. You guys have to make it up to Sacre-Coeur and Montmartre area. I think it has the best view of Paris and there are a tons of great little resturants there.Try to take the Montmartre Funicular Railway to the top. Also, over the weekends it's buzzing with artis who will paint your picture, and if your not carefull Ronnie, try to steal Jesika away from you.
Glad to hear Lexi is doing great. Piper just had her 1st birthday party over the weekend...it was great.

Take care and eat a lot of couscous while your there.
